“Arlo and the Airplane” is in town, and has finished his book tour. #KarissaLowe, the author of the book is working on a third book…”Arlo at the dentist”, I believe!

It was an honor to make cupcakes to celebrate the end of her book tour. She ordered the pistachio flavor along with Chocolate Oreo. Her sister is one of my top client, that orders regularly as well. Thanks Nerelene for the referral. Hope everyone enjoyed the cupcakes!

Cupcakes theme birthday are getting better each day! I love this theme too. As you can tell a Science theme birthday party is not for boys only. This client had this theme for her daughter who was turning 5 years old!

Such a treat. They had a Mad Scientist guy coming to the birthday party to entertain the kids. I did that once also when my boys were younger, only I was the Mad Scientist!!!

Purple and pink are always the staple colors for little girls! These cupcakes were baked for a 5 years old little girl, who celebrated her birthday with her classroom that day. But for the weekend, her mom ordered some cupcakes with a Science Theme! How fun is that. See our next post for the science theme cupcakes!

Happy Birthday John!

Angry Birds have been a hot item last year and continue to be this year. Truly, I still haven’t played the game on my i-phone…maybe someday between cupcakes batches in the oven!

These were ordered by a new found client of mine. Her boys go to the school I used to work at. Small world for sure!

After a few convoy exchanged, I noticed we had lots in common, and for starter, she has two boys, only they are younger in age than mine and so is she

One request from the mother of the bride “Fancy”!

The mother of the bride found me all the way from Yosemite. She googgled me from Yosemite, which bakery was closer to her daughter’s bridal shower venue.

The venue was at the beautiful Woodburry Clubhouse in Irvine. What a lovely place. A brand new clubhouse, with a vast and romantic courtyard, adorned with string lights between trees. Clubhouse gives a view to the community pool.

Patty, mother of the bride came to visit me about 3/4 weeks before the event. She came to have a taste of the cupcakes with her husband, daughter and soon-to-be son-in-law. They instantly loved my cupcakes, especially the pistachio flavor, which was I was just starting to promote.

They booked me  on the spot and off I went with the designs. Patty wanted extra fancy, lots of pearls, sparkle dust like  a new bride should have.

The bride and the groom are going back to Utah to have their wedding reception.

What beautiful colors combo. Makes me want to do my wedding all over again. These were bright colors for this wedding, with a touch of pearls and cream.

Royal purple, deep teal, lime green. The table centerpieces were splendid! Loved the different varieties between the different centerpieces. Each table had their own different one.

It’s been such a pleasure to work with Charla and Robert, whom I met once over last December. Charla, the bride, is also an event coordinator, and I have the pleasure to announce we will be collaborating together for future events as well.

As an event coordinator, I am sure it was hard to let go some of the details to other trustworthy individual to do the tasks up to her standards, but I am glad Charla had also her own day of coordinator.

This venue is outdoor and perfect for a wedding for up to 150 guests. Hillcrest Terrace in on N. Lemon Street, and is located on top of the hill overlooking Fullerton.

It is quiet and secluded. Snapped a few pictures and my best one is always with the bride. I occasionally get a chance to snatch a picture with them when I get a chance. Sometimes, it is hard to see them the day of as they are asked to pose for pictures with the wedding party. Thanks Charla for taking a few minutes for an unforgettable picture with me.

Juliana is turning ONE on Easter weekend. Her parents decided to have an Easter theme birthday party. Pastel colors, bunnies and little chicks out of the eggshells!

A small cake to blow her very first candle. The cake is matching the cupcakes of course.

Loved how the cake turned out with the little grass and rabbit face sticking out.

It’s a #jungleparty out there! These #junglepartycupcakes are the hit of the party. Since these were the smaller cupcakes, we were limited on the space allocated for decorations. The client decided to go with the prints of zebra, giraffe, some paws and the face of a panda bear. I love the panda bear faces the most. They have lots of emotions on them. Thanks Celeste for the order. Hope you had a fabulous wild 30th birthday party.
